Last September the Department of Homeland Security issued a statement saying that the I-9 forms with an expiration date of 8/31/2019 were to remain valid until further notice.
Today, January 31, 2020, DHS and E-Verify have released the updated I-9 forms and they are giving employers until April 30th to make the switch.
