A clean slate in New York?

A law passed last year that went into effect in October of 2017, will allow up to 1 felony conviction or 2 misdemeanor convictions to be permanently sealed.

This new law will not apply to violent felonies and sex offenses, but it will allow other convictions over 10 years old to be considered for sealing.
