Oregon Court Records Unavailable

Thursday, May 15, 2014 3:30pm:

WE HAVE JUST RECEIVED INFORMATION THAT DUE TO THE MULTNOMAH COUNTY TRANSITION THE ECOURTS SYSTEM WILL BE UNAVAILABLE FROM FRIDAY, MAY 16TH AT 5:30PM THROUGH FRIDAY, MAY 23RD AT 3:00PM. This means there will be no access to records from Benton, Clatsop, Columbia, Crook, Jackson, Jefferson, Linn, Polk, Tillamook and Yamhill Circuit Courts during the outage. Our team will process and fulfill your search requests excluding records from these courts during the outage and the limited search scope will be noted on each report.

Many of you are aware that the State of Oregon is currently in the process of transitioning all the county courts in the state from the old OJIN system (built in the mid-1980’s) to the new eCourts system.  This process has been underway slowly for more than a year and this month they will transition Multnomah County, the largest county in the state which includes the city of Portland.  We are very excited that they are taking this step forward, but we’re not excited about the disruptions it will cause to our ability to deliver Oregon criminal searches.

Beginning May 6, 2014 no new case information from Multnomah County will be entered in the old system. Multnomah County records will become available in the new system on May 27, 2014 and cases filed between May 6 and May 27 will be added slowly.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.  We will continue to update you as we receive information from the Oregon Judicial Department.
