On May 25, 2013 Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval signed into law Nevada Senate Bill 127 which intends to “[p]rohibit[] employers from conditioning employment on a consumer credit report or other credit information.” It will go into effect on October 1, 2013 and makes Nevada the tenth state with this type of prohibition.
